It’s always an adventure with the Camo Cats. They are uniquely made to blend in with other animals and with their cat skills, they are amazing protectors and defenders.

Spending the day with Peeta, I helped her watch over the baby peacocks. It was fun running around and playing games, but then lunchtime came and they suddenly began to eye me like I was food!! Peeta spread out her feathers to block the babies from me as I ran over to Jag!

Jag saw me running and jumped from the tree top, threw me on his back and climbed to the highest point in the tree. He showed me the troublesome hyenas who have been steeling food from the area. We watched as two hyenas snatched up several bunches of bananas from the monkeys nearby. Now that Jag had proof, he jumped from the tree landing on top of one of the hyenas. He quickly tied him up with vines from the tree, then tossed me onto the back of the other as he was running away. I was able to yank his ears back, slowing him down so Jag could catch him. The WAFBI was called and now both the hyenas have been locked up. I spoted a heard of elephants I knew Ellie must be nearby.

It’s comforting to hang out with Ellie. She is the smallest of the elephant heard, yet she is the toughest…I can relate! LOL. As we were chatting, we spotted a hunter armed with a spear lurking in the jungle. The hunter can not see Ellie because she is so small. The hunter raised the spear and threw it into the air. She pounded from under the lead elephant, jumping into the air, breaking the spear in half. It scared the hunter so bad, he took off running! We came upon a group of zebras where I spotted Zia.

Zia tossed me on her back and took off running with the group of zebras. Being so small, all I could see is fast moving black and white stripes! As we came to a halt, Zia explained that she has sensed a lion lurking and she needed to lead the others to safety. Once they were safe, she turned around with me still on her back, and ran towards the lion. Yes, I was scared, but Zia had no fear at all!! She came face to face with the lion, flipped him on his back and told him to never mess with the zebras again! Heading back to the group, I spotted Gia up in the trees and headed her way.

I had to climb up a giraffe into the tree to visit with Gia. She was busy gathering food for the lady giraffes and their kiddos. I used my claws to clip the branches so the fruit would fall to the ground. This happened to be a good day for the giraffes since most trees had been empty in the area. Thankfully, Gia was able to spot this tree along with a nearby fruit tree orchard. This would give them plenty of food for a while. I kept seeing something run by the tree, but it was going too fast. Climbing down I realized it was Chaps.

Swept up in a small dirt tornado, Chaps pulled me out. He was on the lookout for a hunter who was after one of his brother cheetahs. He told me to hang on as they raced through the African bush to warn his brother. His brother ran home for safety as Chaps and I headed back towards the hunter. Quietly sneaking up behind the hunter, Chaps sprinted in circles around him causing a huge dirt tornado to encircle the hunter! Chaps told me he would do anything to protect his brothers. We suddenly heard a splash from the nearby pond…it was only Tiger. I said goodbye to Chaps and headed towards the pond.
